In this episode we take a look at a number of research sources detailing the lifestyles of people living in blue zones around the world. Blue zones are small populations of people who live longer and healthier than the majority of the world.
People who live functional lives into their 90s or even beyond 100
- are physically active on a daily basis
- don't overeat
- are intimately connected to the community around them
- continue to serve their community even late in life
We also look at a cellular level what happens to chromosomes as they replicate throughout the years and show signs of aging.
